Therefore, we process and use your data exclusively in the sense of and in accordance with the principles of the applicable data protection law as amended. We undertake to secure the data against unauthorised access and have taken extensive technical and organisational security measures.

 

 

2. Data processing

The data will only be processed for the individually stated purposes such as to answer your requests or for technical administration. There will be no automated data collections or data evaluations to pursue any other purposes. In addition, data that you make available to us when you visit our website will not be processed, evaluated or passed on for marketing purposes.

 

 

2.1 Communication with AMAG

 

We process those personal data which you, as a user of the website and/or as a client, supplier, investor, applicant or other visitor, voluntarily supply to us, for example, as part of a request or registration or for the conclusion of a contract. The processing is performed for the purpose of replying to your enquiry.
You can contact AMAG Austria Metall AG by email and/or via a contact form. In this case, the data provided by you for processing your contact request will be saved. Data will not be forwarded to third parties.
We will delete the personal data processed if you, as a user of the website, revoke your consent to their storage, if your data are no longer necessary for pursuing the purpose in connection with the storage or if the storage is or becomes impermissible for other legal reasons.

 

 

2.2. Registration in the applicant portal

 

For a registration in the applicant portal, we would like to point out to you that the data will be transferred to our software partner, Haufe-Umantis-AG. AMAG and its software partner Haufe-Umantis AG have the required organisational and technical measures in place in order to ensure the confidentiality of your application. All employees of the human resource department as well as of our software partner are obliged, subject to their employment relationship under their work contract, to treat personal data with confidentiality. Due to a 128-bit encryption which is automatically activated, a secure transfer of your data is guaranteed. In the course of data processing, the general standards on data security will be taken into account in accordance with the state of the art.

 

 

Consent to data processing in the course of registration in the applicant portal

 

By registering in the AMAG applicant pool, you provide us with personal data for the purpose of a specific application. Your data will be stored and processed in the systems of our software partner Haufe-Umantis AG.

By accepting this data protection declaration, you provide us with your consent that all personal data disclosed in the applicant portal (including a photograph provided by you) can be processed for the purpose of the application process by the responsible department within AMAG HR / Austria Metall GmbH. Hereby, you are informed that the respective AMAG company affected by the application process and the responsible persons therein are the recipients of your data.
In case you start in a job position within AMAG, you agree that all personal data captured in the application portal upon registration or supplemented in retrospect or, where applicable, an excerpt thereof will be further processed in a personnel file.

In case there is no suitable job position at present or if your application cannot be taken into consideration, you provide us with your consent that the application and the personal data contained therein can be processed in a talent pool. If your application is assigned to a talent pool, the data will remain stored for a term of 36 months and will be deleted thereafter.
In case you are not hired and not included in a talent pool, the data will be stored for 6 months after the end of the application process and deleted thereafter (profile and application).
Regardless thereof, you are entitled to withdraw such application at any time so that the processing of your data is no longer permissible as of the point in time of such withdrawal. For this, please contact us via the following e-mail address datenschutz@~@amag.at. However, the lawfulness of any processing before such withdrawal will remain unaffected.

 

 

Use of your personal data in the application process

 

In addition to your form of address, name and first names, the usual correspondence data such as postal address, e-mail address and telephone numbers will be stored in the applicant data base during the application process. Moreover, application documents such as letter of motivation, curriculum vitae, professional qualifications, vocational trainings and further training qualifications as well as job references will be collected.

These data will only be stored, evaluated, processed or forwarded internally in the context of your application. They can only be accessed by employees of the human resource department and by the persons responsible for selection. Your data will never be disclosed to external companies or persons or used for other purposes

The data may be processed for statistical purposes (e.g. reporting). In the course thereof, no conclusions can be made about certain persons.

We use the component "Google Maps“ provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland on our website.

As a rule, this cookie is not deleted when you close your browser, but expires after a certain time, unless you delete it manually beforehand.

Our website includes YouTube videos, which are stored on "www.youtube.com" and can be played directly from our website. We use the option "extended data protection mode" provided by YouTube, which means that no data about you as a user will be transferred to YouTube if you do not play the videos. Only if you watch the videos will YouTube cookies be stored on your computer and data transmitted to the YouTube operator Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
