AMAG Austria Metall AG considers it its duty to ensure and continuously improve the health and safety of all employees in compliance with the statutory regulations. As two thirds of the staff work in the production area, a functioning occupational health and safety system is of tremendous importance to protect employees from hazards and to provide training in preventive behaviour. AMAG also offers its employees numerous other benefits, such as a health check, physiotherapy, and psychological counseling.

For AMAG, operating sustainably and creating long-term added value means not only the development of aluminium products with a low ecological footprint or the use of modern technologies, but also investing in training and continuing education. As a future-oriented and learning company, AMAG relies on customized training and continuing education programs, as well as cooperative ventures with educational institutions (schools and (inter)national universities) and regional initiatives.
