Expo Milano 2015 was a global exhibition where more than 140 participating countries showcased the best of their technologies offering concrete answers to vital needs: the ability to guarantee healthy, safe and sufficient nourishment for the world’s population, while respecting the planet and its equilibrium. The Expo welcomed over 20 million visitors to its 1.1 million square meters of exhibition area.
AMAG was represented at this exhibition with aluminium sheets mounted on the rice cluster – a multi-country pavilion. A number of building facades of the Rice Cluster were clad with AMAG AL4 façade AP1 mirror. Anodized by ALMECO in Milano, Italy, Euramax in Roermond, Netherland added a protective clearcoat ensuring exterior durability. The highly reflective aluminium endowed the Rice Cluster with a unique appearance, attracting the attention of visitors.
