The award was handed over to AMAG at the annual conference of Cercle Investor Relations Austria (CIRA for short) on October 13, 2021 in Vienna.

Gerald Mayer, CEO of AMAG Austria Metall AG about receiving the award: "Sustainability and innovation have been the foundation of the AMAG strategy for many years. High sustainability standards as well as transparent and open communication are essential. For this reason, we are particularly pleased to receive the award for the quality of our sustainability reporting."

To assess the ATX company’s sustainability reporting performance various sources such as annual reports, capital market presentations and investor relations websites were taken into account. At the award ceremony, the application of international sustainability standards in AMAG’s reporting, its comprehensive sustainability goals, and the systematic definition of the key reporting topics with the involvement of the company's stakeholders were particularly emphasized.

"AMAG considers sustainability to be a holistic concept and manages to transparently disclose this fact in its sustainability reporting. In particular, the strong focus on environment is worth to be highlighted. Congratulations to this great success", said Harald Hagenauer, Chairman of the CIRA at the award ceremony.
